“Wood-Masted Sailboat” is another of the most popular recordings in the series. Contrary to what the marketing implies, this recording is a collage of sounds, the Platonic ideal of an anchored sloop. Side B is another classic recording that was often imitated. These sounds were taken at a stream near Stockbridge, MA.
